Assassin's Creed Mirage happens in Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age when the area suffered from very serious chaos. This period was known as the Anarchy at Samarra and took place under the Abbasid Caliphate. The story occurs ten years before Assassin's Creed Valhalla and tells the history of Basim Ibn Ishaq. Tales show his journey from street thief to a true member of the Hidden Ones. Basim learns from his mentor, Roshan bint-La'Ahad.

About Assassin's Creed: Mirage

Assassin's Creed Mirage is a game where you sneak around and fight. It feels like the older games in the series that have a strong focus on the story and fewer role-playing game parts. The game involves running, fighting up close, and sneaking. In assassination missions, you look around to find different paths to your target, like in earlier games Assassin's Creed Unity and Syndicate.

The story happens mostly in Baghdad, divided into four parts: the Round City, Karkh, Abassiyah with its House of Wisdom, and Harbiyah. There are small towns like Anbar and Jarjaraya near the city. Alamut, the home of the Hidden Ones, appears in some parts of the story, but you cannot visit it freely. Baghdad is not as big as the worlds in newer Assassin's Creed games, being more like the cities in Unity and Revelations.

Basim, the main character, has many weapons and tools like the Assassin Hidden Blade, smoke bombs, throwing knives, and poison darts. You upgrade these using a skill tree. Basim also uses Eagle Vision and has a bird named Enkidu, an eastern imperial eagle, to help look around. Unlike older games with birds, enemies with arrows can see and attack Enkidu, so you have to deal with these enemies first.

The game has a new ability, "Assassin Focus," letting Basim take out several enemies at once and recharge by sneaking up on enemies. When used, time stops, and Basim can mark up to five enemies to eliminate quickly. New poles in Baghdad help cross big gaps. Moving and running animations are really improved, drawing ideas from samurai, ninja, and maybe even Jedi.

How to download and install

1. Make sure that you have uTorrent client installed on your PC (for magnet downloads).
2. Select the version and click on the Download button (press Open uTorrent button in pop-up window).
3. Locate the directory to save game files (e.g. C:\My Files\Games) and begin the downloading process.
4. After the downloading process is finished, search for ReadMe file if there is one and read the instructions.
5. Run the Setup file if there is one or mount the .iso file using Daemon Tools software or similar (keep in mind that you must have enough space on your PC to complete installation).
