About Black Myth: Wukong

In this game, you control a monkey hero named the Destined One, inspired by Sun Wukong from Journey to the West. The hero uses a staff, similar to the Ruyi Jingu Bang in the story. The staff changes size in battles, with three stances - smash, pillar, and thrust - for different attacks. Battling involves managing resources. Focus builds up with light attacks and dodges. When enough focus is gathered, it leads to heavy attacks. A heavy attack works alone or as part of a combo during light attacks. Stamina decreases when running, dodging, and attacking.

Spells have cooldowns and use mana. They belong to mysticism, alteration, strand, and transformations. The hero changes form using transformations. For example, Red Tides turns into Guangzhi, a wolfman with a flaming weapon. Each transformation has its own attacks and health. They are available on cooldown but don’t need mana; they last until their power or health is gone.

Spirits provide skills and effects when equipped. Beaten yaoguai chiefs might leave spirits, collected in a gourd. Spirit skills act as transformations for unique attacks. Qi activates these skills. The Wandering Wight spirit attacks with a headbutt.

The game mostly follows a straight path, with large areas to explore. Keeper’s shrines serve as checkpoints. Players can change their skills freely to alter playstyle. The game's difficulty stays unchangeable but varies during gameplay. A New Game Plus unlocks after finishing the game.

How to download and install

1. Make sure that you have uTorrent client installed on your PC (for magnet downloads).
2. Select the version and click on the Download button (press Open uTorrent button in pop-up window).
3. Locate the directory to save game files (e.g. C:\My Files\Games) and begin the downloading process.
4. After the downloading process is finished, search for ReadMe file if there is one and read the instructions.
5. Run the Setup file if there is one or mount the .iso file using Daemon Tools software or similar (keep in mind that you must have enough space on your PC to complete installation).
