The game puts players in the imaginary post-Soviet Republic of Chernarus. This place is based on a real area in the Czech Republic. A strange sickness has turned many people into aggressive "infected". As a survivor, players search the world for supplies like food, water, weapons, and medicine. They need to fight or dodge the infected. Players also have to decide whether to fight, ignore, or team up with other players to stay alive during the outbreak.

About DayZ

DayZ's aim is to survive and stay healthy during a zombie outbreak. Players start in random spots, often near the coast, with basic gear like simple clothes, a glow stick, half a bandage, and a piece of fruit. They must explore the big 225 km2 area called Chernarus, which is a made-up land from a past Soviet country, to look through places like houses and barns to find supplies. These supplies are food and water, essential for staying alive. Players also discover clothes for customization, more storage, and warmth. Weapons are scattered around, letting players defend against zombies and others. Melee weapons are common, but guns with add-ons like silencers and scopes are present too. Random events include train wrecks and helicopter crashes that offer high-level gear and guns. Gas attacks occur randomly, causing disease and leading to death unless treated. Gas lasts 25 minutes and can be avoided with an NBC suit and gas mask. Two permanent dangerous areas have rare gear and guns. Player interaction is key with voice and text chats and gestures like waving or surrendering.

While moving, players can find medical supplies as various threats exist. Illnesses include colds, cholera, and more. Some illnesses can be cured; others can just be treated. Injuries might damage items, and bleeding needs quick bandaging to prevent vision problems or unconsciousness.

Players can hunt animals like chickens, pigs, cows, and deer. Some animals, like wolves in packs or a lone grizzly bear, can be dangerous. Animals provide meat, hides, bones, and guts, while chickens give feathers instead. Cooking meat makes it last longer, ensures safe eating, and adds nutrition. Players can tan hides to make leather for crafting.

Horticulture allows the harvesting of wild plants and growing crops. Crafting is possible, and a base-building system lets players build new places or use existing structures. Vehicles help travel faster but must be found, fixed, fueled, and maintained.

• Brave adventurers can discover an exciting variety of undiscovered locations. Explore murky swamps, abandoned hunting cabins, sawmills, deforested areas, and massive quarries with leftover explosives.
• Food in Livonia is scarce. Learning hunting, fishing, and foraging in the tough wilderness becomes essential. The land seems more alive now than before the apocalypse.
• Head south to find a hidden entrance leading to a mysterious underground complex. Bring a friend while looking for a way in. Don’t forget supplies, especially a flashlight, or risk getting lost in the dark maze of corridors awaiting everyone entering.

How to launch Dayz Online and set up the launcher

• Recommendation: The launcher is only 10 MB. It must be installed using the default path for it to work correctly.
• Open the DayZavr launcher: In settings, choose the desired installation place for the client (pick a spot without Russian or other letters and spaces). The launcher takes care of all the downloads. Be careful not to install the game client in the launcher folder!
  Note: If you see that servers are unreachable, try using a VPN.
• Join the server: Enter your game name in the launcher settings, pick a server from the list and enjoy playing.

How to download and install

1. Make sure that you have uTorrent client installed on your PC (for magnet downloads).
2. Select the version and click on the Download button (press Open uTorrent button in pop-up window).
3. Locate the directory to save game files (e.g. C:\My Files\Games) and begin the downloading process.
4. After the downloading process is finished, search for ReadMe file if there is one and read the instructions.
5. Run the Setup file if there is one or mount the .iso file using Daemon Tools software or similar (keep in mind that you must have enough space on your PC to complete installation).
6. Copy all the files from Crack directory (if needed) to game directory where you have installed (e.g. C:\My Games\DayZ).
7. Launch the game and enjoy!
